I was not expecting to get much of a reaction from the horse. Then, when I got really clear about what I wanted him to do, he was right there with me...of his own free will.

“ It is amazing to watch someone you think you know work with the horses. Things come up that I would never even think to notice or talk about. What a gift to see my husband in a new light.” JB-MA

Mini-Group Sessions for 3-4 People -

This approach is best for those who know each other and wish to explore a deeper understanding of their relationships to horses and others in their lives. We can focus on specific issues here - or simply see what emerges from our "experience" with the herd.

What Happens at a Workshop?

Meet the Herd -

Walk among the horses and notice what happens to you emotionally, mentally and physically. This exercise is designed to enhance mind-body awareness and develop intuitive skills.

Messages Behind Emotions -

Learn to understand and make distinctions among various emotions - fear, vulnerability, anger, frustration, sadness, joy, etc....Use the messages behind these emotions as valuable information for your personal and professional development

False Self - Authentic Self Exercise -

Learn to recognize the tone and words of the inner voice that keeps you from moving out of old patterns. Once you see and experience how this voice operates in your life, you will discover how to express yourself from a more authentic, integrated place.

Round Pen Exercises -

Spend time with a horse who mirrors your intentions and underlying emotions. When you are clear and congruent, the horse rewards you with respect, affection and trust. When you are not, the horse ignores, moves away from you or dissociates. Once we see where you are with the horse, we use this information to help you become clear and congruent - right here and now.

Emotionally Corrective Experiences -

Practice shifting your attitudes and then your actions during the process of grooming or working with a horse in the round pen. The horses and our facilitators can help you make real changes right now that set the stage for creating new behavior patterns with the humans in your life. Because you experience the shift through your body and see the results right away, new and healthier choices become readily apparent to you.

The Enneagram -

Find out how you approach your life from the inside out. We find the Enneagram to be a powerful tool for self-assessment that helps reveal what lies beneath your habitual approaches and responses to life situations. Introductory courses include a brief overview and self-assessment test. Advanced courses offer a more in-depth look at the system and individual coaching with horses to access the real power of this sophisticated, yet approachable vehicle for personal and professional growth.

Models for Leadership and Teambuilding-

Build and enhance your leadership skills by working with our horses and skilled facilitators. We use a wide variety of tools and exercises come from several well-known organization and development resources. We have synthesized information and created interactive experiences to include horses in a way that brings theories to life in profound and provocative ways.
