Jane
Strong is a Certified Equine Experiential Learning
Instructor.
She is a graduate of the Epona Apprenticing Program in
Tucson, AZ where she studied with Linda Kohanov and Kathleen Barry
Ingram,
MA. Founded in 1997, the Epona
Center has
gained
international attention for innovative programs employing horses
in the work of human development. Linda Kohanov is an author, lecturer
and horse trainer whose published works include: The
Tao of Equus and Riding
Between the Worlds.
Jane is also an Enneagram*Teacher.
She combines this powerful, yet approachable system of self-assessment
with equine exercises to help people integrate what they learn and
apply it directly to their own personal and professional lives. She
is also a student at The Center For Authentic
Leadership, in Atlanta, GA.
Coupled with her ongoing study of horses and their
nature, Jane's expertise and 20 years of experience in group process
work and communications make her a natural at teaching The
Art of Authentic Engagement. She also
has degree in American Cultural
Studies from Simmons College and the University of Copenhagen.
Jane's experience with horses
began
in New
Jersey
where
she trained hunters and jumpers and competed in regional equestrian
events. Since then, she has been a casual rider and student of
Natural Horsemanship. |
We give people the chance to see
for themselves what's been holding them back. Then we help them
become clearer and more congruent. It's a great privilege
to work with horses in this way and watch our clients become more effective
in their lives
